Who is going to help themselves today?
There is a lot of action still left, although Florida, Texas, and Alabama looks like they are cleaning up. 1.Jeff Curtis, the coach at John Curtis High in Louisiana, just told Rivals.com that his three-star athlete Jonathan McKnight will sign a national letter of intent with Arizona this morning. McKnight is the younger brother of Joe McKnight, who will enter the NFL Draft after playing three seasons at USC. 2. Florida State linebacker Christian Jones will sign with Florida State. The five-star from Winter Park, Fla., also considered Florida, USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Michigan. He is the second-ranked player in the state and No. 20 in the country. 3. Four-star safety Sean Parker will sign with Washington, he announced today. Parker also had interest from Cal, Michigan and USC. 4. Maywood (Ill.) Proviso East four-star safety Corey Cooper has signed with Nebraska. He chose the Cornhuskers over Illinois, Arizona and Notre Dame. 5. Keenan Allen announcement has been delayed right now. They are waiting for Gabe King who is stuck in Washington, D.C. because of a flight delay due to weather. 6. Four-star wide receiver Ivan McCartney will sign with West Virginia. In McCartney, the Mountaineers landed the No. 5 prospect from Florida. 7. Tennessee landed the top prospect in Georgia by receiving a commitment from five-star wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers. Rogers had been committed to Georgia but switched on Signing Day. Seems like to me the Georgia program has fallen hard, with last season then now with these recruits looking elsewhere. 8. Four-star defensive tackle Mike Thornton elected to stay in state by signing with Georgia. Kentucky, Penn State and USC also pursued Thornton. 9. Auburn continued its impressive Signing Day haul with an announcement from five-star offensive tackle Shon Coleman. Coleman, the third-ranked tackle in the country, remained with the Tigers despite a late push from Alabama, Ole Miss and Miami. 10. Mississippi State boosted its offensive line class with two surprising Signing Day defections. Three-star Eric Lawson was committed to Texas Tech before making the switch. Two-star Dillon Day switched from Louisiana Tech to the Bulldogs.

For other USC homers:
Lane Kiffin hopes to close strong on his first signing day as USC head coach. The Trojans are waiting on key linebackers, USCFootball.com reports. With less 24 hours left before signing day, the Trojans are awaiting final word on linebacker prospects Josh Shirley, Hayes Pullard, Stanford commit Jordan Zumwalt and Tennessee commit Glen Stanley.
